Shri. Shahu Shikshan Prasarak Seva Mandal, Peth Vadgaon was established in 1968, is a premium education institute located at Peth Vadgaon, Dist-Kolhapur, which runs high quality knowledge centres from Pre-Primary schools to Senior College. The foundation stone of these institutions was laid by Hon'ble late Shri. Vijaysinh Yadav Saheb who was the founder President of the institution. Yadav Saheb believed that a strong educational background helps to transform not just an individual but also his family, the society and the country at large. Our founder's life has been living example of how one man's commitment for excellence and hard work can transform not only his own life but that of the whole surrounding society.

The institution has established many outlets in the course of time to establish excellence in educational institutions and impart knowledge which will build a student's character and equip him for diverse challenges of today's world. Presently, the institute is imparting education to over 11,000 students in various fields.

The institute is committed to the all-round development of the students and hence various activities are organized round the year.

Academic discipline with space for individual's innovation, emphasis on life skill development of students, proactive team of faculty members and an inclination towards initiative for Industry Interface are the salient features of the Institute. The institute works on an activity plan evolved out of the last 50 years experience or so and students' feedback.

We realize that education is a fundamental need for the complete development of individuals. As a premier teaching institute, we endeavour to harness this inherent potential through meeting the growing needs of higher education. As we grow, we will expand into new technologies, methodologies, disciplines, resources and even attitudes.

Thus, today's leadership is in the eminent hands of Shri. Gulabrao Pol, President, Mrs. Vidya Gulabrao Pol, Secretary and Smt. VijayadeviYadav, Vice-President who are taking painstaking efforts to fulfil the dreams.
